It all started with fascination over grand piano sound on Yamaha YPT-210. I have enjoyed pressing black and white keys and whatever came out of it over the headphones. Then I plugged it through guitar effects to mixing board. The sound evolved with the help of echoes, modulations and sampling into the musical landscapes. I’ve added other noise Gizmos as I like to call them. Korg Volca series synthesizers and monotrone, Bastl Kastle, radio AM white noise, piezo mic in tin can with round stone, guitar and voice were soundscaping the details that grand piano outlined. Sometimes it happened in one shot of pure improvisation other times the final view reviled itself by adding layer after layer by my little noise gizmos. Only song Heavy thoughts was created differently. First it was chant, then the improvised singing and at the end grand piano.

So, me and my Gizmos created 5 unique musical landscapes and it was obvious that they are all connected into their own world. By listening them I’ve seen the stories that I have tried to visualize in the videos. By using old footages of things that are always the same in their core and our human memory mistakenly believes that they weren’t. It is in our nature and I guess that it will always be the same. Maybe this is one the messages that this music on Noise SPA music album is trying to communicate. But every ear has its own interpretation and that is how it should be.
